Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting very fine, sterile and single use metal needles into the skin at specific points on the body with the goal of creating global balance and harmony in order to achieve health and wellness. The New Methods Explained: 1. The NADA* Protocol: A specialized 5-point ear treatment that supports nervous system regulation. Distal Balancing: This method utilizes advanced diagnostic mapping of the body's neural and myofascial pathways to needle points away from the primary site of injury. Orthopedic massage is a multidisciplinary approach which integrates techniques from the world's leading physical therapists, orthopedic, and osteopathic physicians. Dry Cupping Therapy

An ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups made of glass, plastic or silicone on your skin and the air within the cup is removed causing a vacuum effect. Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy®

Although it’s origins are derived from eastern modalities, AOBT and the application are truly western. This technique utilizes specialized ceiling-mounted bars to allow your therapist to use the power of their legs and feet to deliver this deep and relaxing treatment. The therapist’s body weight is used to press, sweep, swirl, and relax the muscles. By elongating the spine and dramatically stretching shortened muscles, Ashiatsu can help to correct posture and movement, relieve muscle spasms, increase circulation, and aid the body’s lymphatic system in the release of toxins.

Warm Bamboo Massage

This massage uses oil with solid bamboo sticks of different lengths and diameters to massage the body. The bamboo is gently warmed and applied to give deep and long massage strokes to break down tension and stretch tight muscles. Like the techniques found in hot stone massage, warm bamboo is used to roll and knead the tissue to promote blood circulation, help with recovery and healing and to reduce general muscle soreness.

Tuning Fork Therapy

Beginning with the balancing of the chakras, each session utilizes six forks tuned to specific vibrations or frequencies, which are used to assist people in opening up their channels of energy (sushumna, ida and pingala) to allow the life force energy, Prana or Chi, to flow freely through the chakra system. The vibrations transferred to cells by the tuning forks cause a spike of nitric oxide within the body tissues.
